Exemplification (cont.) and Problem solution (week12)






           This class, my teacher  answered  exercises text3,4. It’ about read text and answered the question and text4, completed the sentences using: illustration,
for example, a case in point, an example, for instance and such as.



     
         
Next, my teacher started a new lesson.It’s problem and solution.
She explained problem and solution concluded language, problem markers and solution markers.
        Then, I did skill practice and exercise 1. 
After this, she answered both exercises. Lastly, She made me do homework and  watched video of my friends.

  
   I could find the problem markers in other text. It easy for me. I found my difficult was wrote the diagram. I will practice to write the diagram for solve this problem. My attitudes towards the lesson are I feel this lesson difficult more than other lessons,but I enjoy finding about problem  and solution markers. It make me feel positive with this lesson more and more.

Definition,Classification and Exemplification (Week 11)





        

           Morning
   
      
 This class, I studied lesson about definition and classification. My teacher explained definition  and classification. It about  language and strategies of it.Then, I did skill practice2.
It about classification markers, drew a diagram.After that, I did skill practice 3.
It about highlight the definition of terms.such as, acoustic
phonetics,perception,selective attention etc. These definition was skill practice2 item5.This activity,I could ask to work in group or work in pair.


                                     
     
           Afternoon

     In the afternoon, I studied text 2. It about species of whales: Toothed and Baleen.
Then, I did the diagram and highlighted discourse markers in the text.After this, my teacher started new lesson. It my exemplification.  Exemplification have variety topic.such as,f.e/ e.g, i.e., a case in point is, specifically etc.
After that,my teacher explained clearly this lesson .for example,
she explained unknow words and gave
  examples about transition words and phrases of exemplification.Next, I did text 1 and 2. They were College Students’Pressures and Fun things to Do in Great Falls. 
And I did text 3,but  I didn’t  finish. So,it was my homework.I could find exemplification markers. It easy for me.

                                 
                                


However, I had the problem about I couldn’t understand some text because I knew little vocabulary.
I will solve the problem is I memorize vocabulary in every morning at least 15 words and tried to remember category  words for I can remember it more and more. Significance, I can separate about part of speech. My attitudes with this lesson  I felt very enjoy.






Cause and Effect (Week10)



     Morning       
       I studied a Discourse Approach in Reading. First, my teacher answered the exercises.  It about men and woman do they speak the same language?.
      Next, my teacher read a passage. Then,
I checked the answers with my friends.After this,she answered the exercises untill it finish.
       Last, all students found the discourse marker of similarities and differences. Finally, she 
taught  lesson 7. It’s cause/effect markers.
In addition, I did the skill practice1 ,and my teacher answered the practice1.


                       


      I thought  I could find cause and effect markers. It easy for me because
I understood it ,and could do many exercises about cause and effect. 

       My problem was  I remember little vocabulary. I will solve the problem is  I remember vocabulary at least 20 words/day with my friends.  
       
My attitudes towards the lesson.I felt very enjoy with this lesson.


         
                            



    Differences men and women
 

1.Men see the world as a contest,but women view primarily in connection with other people.
2.Men use language to show independence, status, and power ,but women use language to establish and intimacy.
